Lancelot worked as a healer at St Mungo’s Hospital during the early twentieth century. Unfortunately, his cousin would share this information freely while under the influence of champagne.
AUNTIE MURIEL
Never one for pleasantries, Auntie Muriel used to visit The Burrow every Christmas. That was, until her great nephews Fred and George set off a Dungbomb under her chair. Muriel agreed to lend her precious goblin-made tiara to Bill’s fiancée, but made up for this kind gesture by criticising virtually everyone she spoke with at the wedding.
UNCLE BILIUS
Ron’s uncle Bilius (from whom he probably got his middle name) may have died shortly after seeing a Grim, but was regarded as something of a party animal in life. According to his nephew Fred, Bilius would drink a bottle of Firewhisky, pull up his robes and produce bunches of flowers from an undisclosed region. Mysteriously, Uncle Bilius never married.
GIDEON PREWETT
Gideon was a member of the Order of the Phoenix during Lord Voldemort’s first ascent to power. Along with his brother Fabian, he was killed while battling five Death Eaters. According to the Auror Alastor Moody, the two brothers ‘fought like heroes’.
FABIAN PREWETT
While working for the Order of the Phoenix, Fabian and his brother Gideon were killed in a battle with five Death Eaters. Fabian once owned the watch that was given to Harry Potter by Mrs Weasley. Harry still had the watch many years later as he saw his sons leave for Hogwarts.
ARTHUR WEASLEY
Arthur was a loving husband to Molly and doting dad to seven children. For years, he supported his family as Head of the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts office, a job that also let him explore the fascinating non-magical world. When he wasn’t busy adding to his collection of batteries and electric plugs, Arthur worked undercover for the Order of the Phoenix.
MOLLY WEASLEY
Knowing they were ‘made for each other’, Molly Prewett eloped with Arthur Weasley during Voldemort’s first rise to power. They made their home at The Burrow near Ottery St Catchpole where they raised their seven children. Though loving and maternal, Molly was never one to be trifled with, as she proved once and for all in a ferocious duel with Bellatrix Lestrange.
BILL WEASLEY
A high achiever at Hogwarts, Bill set the bar high for his siblings. After school, he became a curse-breaker for Gringotts and occasionally had to remind his mother that the bank wasn’t bothered about his hairstyle. Bill’s face was left permanently scarred after a fight with the werewolf Fenrir Greyback, however he exhibited no sign of lycanthropy apart from a taste for rare steak.
CHARLIE WEASLEY
As the second Weasley to attend Hogwarts, Charlie certainly made his mark. Being an exceptional Seeker, Charlie was made captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team and it was speculated that he could have played for England. However, his fascination with magical creatures led Charlie to Romania, where he studied dragons. His many burns and scars showed his devotion to his life’s work.
PERCY WEASLEY
Perhaps the most ambitious of his brothers, Percy dreamed of becoming the next Minister for Magic. After graduating Hogwarts with top grades, Percy took a job at the Ministry where he became fanatical about cauldron bottom thickness and struggled to impress a boss who kept calling him ‘Weatherby’. Percy’s career ambitions eventually caused a rift in the Weasley household, yet he returned to his family’s side during the Battle of Hogwarts.
FRED WEASLEY
At Hogwarts, Fred and his brother George were known as the Troublemakers-in-Chief. Eventually the twins decided they’d had enough of school and made a memorable exit to seek their fortune in the world of wizarding joke products. Having been members of Dumbledore’s Army, the brothers joined the Order of the Phoenix when they came of age. Tragically, Fred lost his life at the Battle of Hogwarts, leaving the family devastated.
GEORGE WEASLEY
George and his twin brother Fred acquired reputations for mischief at Hogwarts – reputations that were very much justified. While still at school, the twins began inventing trick sweets, eventually founding their own business, ‘Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes’. While on a mission for the Order of the Phoenix, George lost an ear, only to joke about feeling ‘saint-like’ (or ‘holey’) immediately afterwards.
RONALD BILIUS WEASLEY
As the sixth Weasley child to attend Hogwarts, Ron often felt overshadowed by his successful older brothers. His fears, however, proved unfounded. Ron showed impressive skills as a wizard chess player and Quidditch Keeper, not to mention his valiant efforts in the fight against Voldemort, during which he destroyed a Horcrux. However, Ron felt his greatest achievement was appearing on his very own Chocolate Frog card.
GINEVRA MOLLY WEASLEY
As a young girl, Ginny couldn’t wait to attend Hogwarts with her brothers. After a difficult first year, she became rather popular. Ginny joined Dumbledore’s Army, earned a spot on the Quidditch team and took down several bullies with her signature Bat-Bogey Hex. After Hogwarts, Ginny played professional Quidditch for the Holyhead Harpies, married her girlhood crush Harry Potter and later became a sports correspondent for the Daily Prophet.
FLEUR DELACOUR
Fleur represented Beauxbatons Academy of Magic in the 1994 Triwizard Tournament. She met her future husband Bill shortly before the final task and the two later joined the Order of the Phoenix. Fleur fought valiantly at the Battle of Hogwarts and was awarded medals of bravery from both the French and British Ministries of Magic.
VICTOIRE WEASLEY
Victoire was born on the second of May – the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts. As a teenager, she appeared to share a blossoming romance with a good friend of the Weasley family, Teddy Lupin.

Rose was the eldest child of Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger and, according to her father, inherited her mother’s brains. Rose was so excited about starting Hogwarts that she was already dressed in her school robes while awaiting the train on platform nine and three-quarters.

Hugo was the youngest child of Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. As his sister Rose prepared to depart for Hogwarts, Hugo was seen chatting to his cousin Lily about the houses they thought they’d eventually join. Hugo’s mother assured him that his father was joking when he threatened to disinherit him if he didn’t get into Gryffindor.
